Borussia Dortmund are after Man City’s young phenom

Borussia Dortmund of the Bundesliga have emerged as a team that is extremely interested in signing 18-year old Manchester City prospect Jayden Braaf, after miscommunication with coaches has more or less caused Braaf’s time to come to an end with the team. Borussia Dortmund have apparently been monitoring Braaf’s progress for a while now and the feeling is that Manchester City would have no issue with Braaf leaving the team in January.

Manchester City, who is also after Messi, is reported to be seeking a permanent move as well as a loan move as well as a fee of between 8 and 10 million euros for the young player. The team would also be considering a buy-back option as internal fears of a repeat of what happened three years ago with Jadon Sancho, could haunt the team in the future. If the two teams do engage in negotiations, expect Manchester City to have itself covered this time, in the event that Braaf has a meteoric rise that mirrors what Sancho did with the exact same team in Borussia Dortmund.
